Notes from Grandma
The Problem With ‘Too Late’
People rarely say ‘too late’ because time has run out. They say it because courage has.
People rarely say ‘too late’ because time has run out. They say it because courage has.
There is a phrase people use when they want fear to sound intelligent: ‘It is too late.’
Too late to become strong. Too late to begin again. Too late to wear the dress. Too late to leave the room. Too late to build something that belongs to you.
Time is blamed because time cannot defend itself.
Most opportunities do not disappear at a certain age. They become more expensive. They require discipline, patience and the humility to become a beginner again.
That is not the same as impossible.
The barbell does not ask when you should have started.
It only asks whether you are willing to lift today.
